Jits

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting with the goal of gaining a dominant position and using joint-locks and chokeholds to force an opponent to submit.

Muay Thai

The basic offensive techniques in Muay Thai use fists, elbows, shins, feet, and knees to strike the opponent. To bind the opponent for both offensive and defensive purposes, small amounts of stand-up grappling are used, clinching. Almost all techniques in Muay Thai use the entire body movement, rotating the hip with each kick, punch, and block. The rotation of the hips in Muay Thai techniques, and intensive focus on "core muscles" is very distinctive and is what sets Muay Thai apart from other styles of martial arts.

Jeet Kune Do

Jeet Kune Do (JKD) “Way of the Intercepting Fist” students are encouraged to study every form of combat possible. This is believed to expand one’s knowledge of other fighting systems; to both add to one’s arsenal as well as to know how to defend against such tactics.

MMA

Considered to be the fastest growing sport in America. This class combines Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and takedowns from Greco Roman wrestling and Judo. You must be a member of the gym for at least a year to take this class.

Take-Downs

This class is an introduction to throws from a Judo and Greco Roman prospective.
